LabFrame uses a credit-based billing system. Every AI interaction consumes credits from your account balance.

Credits

Credits are consumed by:
  • Messages — each message to the agent costs credits based on the model and response length
  • Tool usage — commands, web searches, and file operations
  • Compute — the agent’s cloud VM has a small per-minute cost while active
Different models cost different amounts. More capable models (like Opus 4.6) use more credits per message than faster models (like Sonnet 4.6).

Plans

Go to Settings > Subscription to see available plans. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance:

Toggle between Monthly and Annual billing at the top of the page. Annual billing saves up to 15%.

Current balance

The Current balance card on the Subscription page shows:
  • Your credit balance
  • Added this month — credits from your plan
  • Spent this month — credits used so far
  • Subscription status (Active, Trialing, etc.)
If your balance is low, a Low balance badge appears. If you run out, a Top up required badge appears and your agents pause until credits are replenished. The sidebar also shows a balance warning when credits are running low.

Top-ups

If you need more credits before your next billing cycle, scroll down to Top up credits on the Subscription page. One-time credit packs are available in several sizes. Top-up credits are added immediately and do not expire at the end of the month.

Managing your subscription

Click Manage subscription to open the Stripe customer portal where you can:
  • Change your plan
  • Update payment method
  • View invoices
  • Cancel your subscription
